About Me

My name is Kathy, I’m a mom of three and I am a certified lactation educator and counselor. I became passionate about breastfeeding education while struggling to nurse my second baby. It was so easy the first time around, and I couldn’t figure out why it was so difficult the second time through. After working hard on that breastfeeding relationship, and spending hours driving back and forth to the lactation counselor, I decided that I wanted to be able to support other parents on their breastfeeding or chestfeeding journey by offering prenatal education and in home lactation counseling.
One of the best ways to support infant bonding is to wear your baby. I am an advocate for all parents to wear their babies in whatever safe way feels comfortable to them. I am a graduate of the Center for Babywearing Studies, and I have years of experience wearing my own babies as well as teaching others how to wear theirs. Babywearing isn’t just for infants; you can wear your toddler and beyond! I am pleased to offer in home baby wearing consultations in addition to lactation support.
When I’m not helping families, you can find me homeschooling my kiddos, adventuring with my family, and park hopping at Disneyland. I’m a proud member of the LGBTQIA community, and I support families of all gender, sexualities, and races.
